I use Firefox instead of IE is to get rid of pop up ads.
unfortunately, there are many pop under ads now. a pop under ad is a pop up ad that pops under(behind) your current browser. It is very annoying.
I google and found a solution, thanks to Pete Bevin in Canada for his findings.
The culprit is the Adobe Flash Plugin, add 2 lines of code to your Firefox config to disable the pop under ads until they find another way to pop.
open a new tab(or in current tab if you wish)
in url, type: about:config (this will open up Firefox’s config setting)
right mouse click anywhere on this page, select NEW and Integer
Name this new integer “privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins” (without quotes)
set the value to 2.
other possible values are:
0: Allow all popups from plugins.
1: Allow popups, but limit them to dom.popup_maximum.
2: Block popups from plugins.
3: Block popups from plugins, even on whitelisted sites.
